We have been studying an American artist called Eric Joyner. He draws and paints pictures containing robots. Eric Joyner always includes a doughnut, cupcake or yum yum in his drawings. We created our own drawings, using his style.
We have had an amazing time making our clay dragons with Louise. We used lots of utensils to create a range of effects on our dragons. Some of us made 3D dragons and some of us made square shaped pots with dragons wrapped around them. We will have our clay dragons back in approximately two weeks, after they have been fired in the kiln.

Today, Neptune Class worked in the library because our classroom was being used for our clay work. We worked in small groups and we were able to use the new furniture. Some of us thought it was great working in the library because there was a lot of room, but others found it noisy at times. Overall, we thought it was a great place to be able to work!
Next week we are going to be writing a non-chronological report about komodo dragons. In preparation for the writing task, we looked at a range of information texts and drew out the key features.
